Daniela Kleemann is the owner and driving force behind Die Haut (The Skin). With over 20 years of experience as a dermatologist, she has earned an excellent reputation as an expert in skincare and beauty treatments. Her passion and deep understanding of the skin's needs are reflected in every treatment. Daniela places great emphasis on personalized consultations and relies on high-quality products and state-of-the-art techniques to achieve optimal results.

Initial situation

Without a professional SEO agency, the client's domain (die-haut.ch) steadily lost visibility on Google and had hardly any website visitors.

SEO Roadmap - Strategy

As part of the SEO roadmap, an in-depth SEO analysis based on over 200 SEO factors was conducted. The most important on-page aspects were implemented:

  1. Technical SEO optimization
    • Establishment of Permalinks, Sitemap and Robots.txt.
    • Implementation of Google Analytics and Social Media Connect.
    • Establishment of a comprehensive Tracking systems to measure user activity (calls, email clicks, contact forms) and visitor sources (organic, paid ads, social media, direct).
  2. content strategy
    • Creating relevant content for website visitors.
    • Optimization of existing pages
  3. Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO)
    • Optimization of user guidance and calls to action (CTAs).
    • Implementation of Conversion tracking for Google Ads.
  4. Second strategy phase (from mid-2023)
    • Reducing dependence on Google Ads by focusing on organic traffic.
    • Implementation of a Glossary with relevant topics to increase visibility and authority.

Monthly SEO Services

To secure and further expand upon the results achieved, continuous monthly SEO measures were implemented:

  1. Content optimization
    • Regular creation and updating of content.
    • Keyword research and adaptation of content to current search intent.
  2. Backlink generation
    • Monthly generation of high-quality backlinks through targeted outreach campaigns.
    • Monitoring and maintenance of the backlink profile.
  3. Technical SEO maintenance
    • Continuous monitoring and optimization of technical SEO parameters (Core Web Vitals, Page Speed, Crawling).
  4. Performance monitoring & reporting
    • Monthly analysis of SEO performance (rankings, visibility, traffic).
    • Creation of detailed reports with recommendations for action.
  5. Local SEO optimization
    • Optimization of Google Business Profiles and entries in relevant directories.

Results

The implemented measures have yielded impressive results. 

Visibility increased steadily, and the domain gained authority. Thanks to the increased organic visibility, Google Ads campaigns could be gradually reduced and eventually stopped.

Conclusion

The collaboration with Dr. Daniela Kleemann demonstrates how a targeted SEO strategy can significantly improve a company's online visibility and ranking. By combining technical optimization, content strategy, and continuous off-page measures, not only was the dependence on Google Ads reduced, but organic visibility was also sustainably increased.
